Night Out in Our Neighborhood

Where else to start our blog that in front of our own door. Opatovicka street is in my opinion a well kept secret or a hidden treasure for fun night out in the downtown of Prague.

If you want to spend night out, party or just have a good night with your friends welcome to our neighborhood. It is home to a great steakhouse V jame: personal favorite burger and wings. Also sangria was a great compliment to the meal.

Right across is Havana Club, which is fairly small coctail bar, bar bartenders are amazinhg ane apart of usual coctails ofer some new mixes and speciality coctails as well.

Further down the street is intellectual meeting point Cafe Jericho, visited mostly by locals, open early and closes late, very late :)

Rihght next door is coffeeshop Velryba. Also mostly popular by locals, but serves tap beer from Unetice and thats and exquisite taste, light, refreshing. Great for summer.

As a vegetarian you have lots of options in Prague, one of them is the restaurant Estrella that is directly across from our mini golf.

Only two blocks down, not even 5min walk you can turn to Kremencova street and visit the oldest pub in Prague U Fleku. Touristy place? Absolutely. Do not miss stop? Absolutely.

It's a microbrewery and their Flekovsky Lezak you can't get anywhere else. Dark beer and delicious. You don't even have to ask they will serve you one right away. On a side get beer cheese spread and dark toast and it will transport to a culinary heaven. In the evening there is a acordeon musician playing-just like in the old times. They have huge capacity for over 1000 guests, but in the evening its better to have a reservation anyway.

Not a bad neighborhood to be in i think.
